The essence of the furnishings was maple. The waxed finishing, which gives a natural effect to the wood, underlines the restrained and composed character of the entire project, which was perfectly integrated with the products on sale. Steel with micacious finishes has been used for the metallic parts. I PURI were given the “Best Shop of the Year” Award in 1993 by the German journal Architektur Jahrbuch.
