Micoperi 7000

Micoperi / Saipem

Saipem 7000 (ex Micoperi 7000) has been built in monfalcone in 1987 and it is now owned by Saipem. It is a semi submergible platform with two humongous cranes of 7000 tons each and it is the biggest platform of this kind ever built in the world.
This ship can give the best comforts to all the people on board such as swimming pool, sauna, training rooms. Zago spa in this prestigious project has been the first Italian Company to have built all the cabins in a prefabricated way.
Those were realized in the workshop and then shipped by train on board.
