House in London

Privates

This house, designed by Ettore Sottsass, exemplifies the fantasy and the genius of this major architect who usually realizes his works by ennobling more generic materials that are cleverly combined with those of higher quality. The furnishings of this house are conceived in woods such as African zebrawood combined with laminated plastic and gold-leaf lacquer. There is a real international feel to the materials, yet the mastery of this great modern architect always keeps them in check.
