House in Colorado

Privates

This house has the fortune of being situated in the heart of one of American’s greenest regions. Located near Santa Fe is Telluride, a small town close to the Rocky Mountains that is skirted by green spruce and birch forests. The central structure of this piece of architecture, realized by Ettore Sottsass for this fortunate customer, is constructed with a large sloping glass roof that floods the entire two floor main hall with light. All panelling is in honeycoloured sandstone, to optimally recall the raw beauty of the surrounding environment.
